A bstract Track functions describe the collective effect of fragmentation quarks and gluons into charged hadrons, making them a key ingredient for jet substructure measurements at hadron colliders, where track-based offer superior angular resolution. The first moment track function, describing average energy deposited in particles, is simple well-studied object. However, higher-point correlations flow necessitate characterization fluctuations hadronization process, described theoretically by higher moments function. In this paper we derive structure renormalization group (RG) evolution equations function moments. We show that conservation gives rise to shift symmetry allows be written terms cumulants, κ ( N ), difference between quark gluon functions, ∆. uniqueness three cumulants then fixes their all-order DGLAP, up corrections involving powers ∆, are numerically suppressed an effective order perturbative expansion phenomenological functions. fourth cumulant beyond there non-trivial RG mixing products such as (4) (2) 2 . analytically compute sixth $$ \mathcal{O} O {\alpha}_s^2 α s 2 study associated flows.
